Prerequisites: This course is for dedicated students who have completed the ‘intermediate plus‘ level or higher (or have an equivalent level of competency) and desire to obtain a formal qualification in Arabic.

Description: The GCSE course results in a formal qualification awarded by the Edexcel examination board. The syllabus is very comprehensive, covering all four major areas of learning language i.e. speaking, reading, listening and writing. There are four exam papers taken over a period of two days. Other materials: Students will be provided with vocabulary and dialogue handouts as well as relevant audio recordings.

Assessment: Weekly homework and continuous assessment. In order to obtain the GCSE qualification, the student will have to take the four formal exams.
